Discovering the complex identity of an Armenian American.
Getting used to:
What even are you?
Self Portraits
I am a descendent of immigrants. I am a great grand daughter of genocide survivors. I am a woman. I am technically white. I look "different" to others; like several ethnicities and races at once. I am a college graduate. I am an educator. I feel different in some places, and entirely the same in others. I come from grandma's stories around the table.
